Mrs. Deaton's Career Prep students had the opportunity to visit Clay County Meat Processing for an insightful lesson on the intricacies of meat processing and butchering. This family-owned and operated business, located in Henrietta, specializes in processing beef, sheep, and goat, and has earned a reputation for excellence in their craft. Guided by their mission statement, "To provide excellent grass-fed beef products to our family & yours, and to uphold the highest standards of health & service," Clay County Meat Processing emphasizes quality, customer care, and a commitment to sustainability.

This is a well-established amazing summer camp opportunity for any students who have experienced loss (recent or years ago). Students have lots of fun at this camp and make friends with other kiddos who have felt the emotions of grief. It is free and very well organized...sign your kiddo up!
