NEXT WEEK!! HHS & HJH will celebrate "Generation Texas Week" for 2025! Generation Texas Week is an opportunity to highlight and further promote college and career paths after high school. Next Wednesday & Friday will be dress up days for HHS & HJH. Wear you favorite college shirt on Wednesday and wear your favorite college hat/cap/headgear on Friday!

Our first PTECH class! We are so proud of this group of students that applied and interviewed for this new program.! P-TECH is a public education reform model focused on college attainment and career readiness. P-TECH enable students to earn both a high school diploma and an associate's degree. Students participate in a range of workplace experiences, including mentorship, worksite visits and paid internships. Upon graduation, students have the academic and professional skills required to either continue their education in a four-year postsecondary institution or enter into entry-level careers in teaching, IT, healthcare, advanced manufacturing and other competitive fields. As an added incentive to students — and to support their achievement — P-TECH, and in particular the associate degree, is provided at no cost to students and their families. We are excited about this new program that supports families by providing the dual credit courses at no cost!
