This week, our Bearcats are showing what community is all about!

Students and campus groups will be giving back through service projects, volunteering, and donation drives to support local organizations that do so much for us. ❤️

Each day highlights a special theme — Service, Community Spirit, Volunteering, Kindness, and Gratitude — reminding us that even small acts can make a big difference.

🎃🏈 Game Day + Halloween + Senior Night! 🏈🎃

Tomorrow night (Thursday, October 31st), come out and support our team for Senior Night! The celebration begins at 6:15 PM due to the large number of seniors we’ll be recognizing.

🚧 Important Parking & Traffic Notice:
Please note that part of Crafton Street in front of the Admin Building and the football gate entrance will be closed from 6:15 PM – 7:15 PM due to ongoing construction and the safety of our fans. See the map for details on the where to park.

We encourage fans to arrive early, carpool if possible, and be mindful of extra traffic and Halloween activities in the area. 👻🎉

November is Diabetes Awareness Month! 💙

We’ll be wearing blue to honor our HISD students who bravely fight this battle every day. Join us by wearing blue or learning something new about Type 1 Diabetes—every bit of awareness helps bring us one step closer to a cure.

World Diabetes Day is November 14, and you can show your support by purchasing a t-shirt or wearing blue.

📣 Early Release Today at 1:00 PM!

Due to last night’s weather, the football game has been rescheduled for today at 2:00 PM.
To allow our families and staff to attend and support our students, school will release early at 1:00 PM today (Friday, October 24, 2025).

🍽️ All students will be served lunch before release.
🚌 Buses will run at 1:00 PM.
📚 Elementary students who cannot be picked up right at 1:00 will be supervised by their home room teacher until an adult arrives.
⛪ FBC will be picking up students who attend after-school care as usual.

🏐 Volleyball Update:

Both JV teams will play at 5:00 PM (instead of 4:30).
Varsity will play immediately following the JV games.
Thank you so much for your flexibility and support — we’re looking forward to a fun afternoon and evening of games!
