Call meeting to order 

Order of Business 

1. Consider approval of Serenity House’s “Life Skills” secondary curriculum to cover substance abuse, communication skills, assertiveness, self-image, decision making, and coping with anxiety and anger in healthy ways.  

2. Patsy’s House to present SB9 and Digital Safety curriculum. Senate Bill 9 (SB9) of the 87th Texas Legislative Session requires school districts to offer curriculum to students in the prevention of child abuse (elementary & secondary schools), family violence (elementary & secondary), dating violence (secondary only), and sex trafficking (secondary only). Parents/Guardians must “opt-in” with consent for these topics for their student to receive this information. 

3. Schedule a second meeting to discuss and consider approval of Patsy’s House curriculum.
