Dear Henrietta ISD Family and Friends
Henrietta ISD has been notified that one individual at Henrietta High School and one individual at Henrietta Elementary School have tested positive for COVID-19. Due to privacy requirements, HISD will not be releasing the name of the individuals or details that may identify them.
The local health department has been notified. All students and staff that came into close contact will be directly notified. Because proper masking protocols were followed, the number of quarantined individuals was greatly reduced.
Affected areas have been deeply sanitized. All District employees and students are instructed to continue to follow CDC guidelines and recommendations, to practice social distancing, and to wear face coverings.
Out of an abundance of caution, you are advised to monitor your health, follow the CDC guidelines for people who have had close contact and contact your primary care physician if you develop symptoms. Should staff or students develop symptoms, the appropriate District administrator should be immediately notified.
Henrietta ISD is continuing to monitor this situation and will provide additional information as needed. Henrietta ISD and the HISD family hope for a successful recovery for this individual.
Let us continue to support the students and staff at Henrietta ISD. The unity, patience, understanding, and grace of all the HISD family will sustain us through this time and in the future.
All In For Excellence
